SUNSET BEACH PARTY 18.-19.7. 2008
Sunset Beach Party will be held for the nineteenth time in Karkkila on July 18th – 19st 2008. The festival takes place on a beautiful beach at lake Pyhäjarvi and the festival program is filled with Finland’s top artists as well as some interesting new comers. On Friday the first band kicks out the jams at 18 PM and on Saturday at 14:30 PM. On both days the festival gates will be opened an hour before the days first performer for the festival crowd. You can buy either two-day tickets or one-day tickets in advance and from the festival gate.

Tickets can be purchased nationwide from Tiketti (phone +358 0600-1-1616) starting from the 2st of June. The local pre-sales points are Ekin baari in Karkkila and Viihdeässät in Nummela.

AGE LIMIT
The age limit to Sunset Beach Party is 13. Children under the age of 13 are only admitted to the festival area if accompanied by their parents. The children under 10 years of age are allowed free admittance when accompanied by their parents

WRISTBAND
The ticket is swapped for a wristband at the festival gate. When leaving the festival area, the wristbands are taken away and therefore re-entering the area is only possible by purchasing a new ticket.

FESTIVAL AREA
Bringing your own beverages containing alcohol to the area is not allowed.There is a specific fenced area where it is possible for the festival audience tobuy and drink alcohol. The alcohol is not to be taken outside the bar area. The age limit to the bar area is 18. There are barrels for garbage in the festival area, and therefore we expect people to use them. We also expect everyone to remember and respect the fact that bringing glass bottles to the beach is forbidden. If glass bottles are smuggled to the area, however, there will be staff collecting the empty bottles and we encourage people to hand the empty bottles over to the collectors instead of leaving them lying around or breaking them. By this we try to prevent possible injuries caused by broken glass. All bottles, cans, weapons, other sharp objects or alcohol are not allowed to be taken to the festival area. We expect people to understand and tolerate this. These arrangements have been made to prevent accidents caused by broken glass and to ensure tidiness, order and comfort. These regulations exist also to ensure the safety of the performers. To ensure a pleasant festival experience for everyone, we will have the right, authorized by a police department of Karkkila, to remove people endangering the safety of the festival audience or performers. Swimming under the influence of alcohol is neither allowed nor very smart. The security people will keep close watch on the drunken people and will do their best to prevent them from swimming. Also remember that abandonment is a crime! Take care of your friends and seek help if it is needed. Also take care of your personal belongings: do not leave them unattended. Lost and found items will be taken to the police station of Karkkila after the festival.
